TESOL Teacher Practicum

This one-week program allows aspiring teachers to utilize their skills in New York City and practice alongside experienced teachers.

Do you want to enhance your teaching abilities while meeting the qualifications to obtain your TESOL-required practicum hours? Look no further. With 20 observation and practice teaching hours, you will put your skills to the test. Work alongside an experienced TESOL teacher observing you during your lesson and providing feedback and guidance in the right direction.

Hone your teaching skills and bring your newly gained knowledge of English language teaching into the Manhattan University TESOL Practicum program. In addition to your practicum hours letter, a certificate from Manhattan University will also be provided to each participant.

The Program Includes

• Teaching experience and practice with ESL students.
• Guided lesson planning and templates from experienced teacher lessons.
• Observational sessions of peer teacher lessons or activities.
• Guided feedback on your teaching practice.

For international participants who require a visa to enter the U.S., you must have a valid B2 (tourist visa) to participate (we do not sponsor visas for this program).

TEFL Certificate Program

Earn an internationally recognized TEFL certificate from Manhattan University and gain experience in the classroom with a two-week practicum in New York City.
